This EdD Educational Leadership taught doctorate is designed to allow Headteachers who have successfully gained a MSc in Educational Leadership to complete their studies at doctoral level and is taught in partnership by the School of Education, Bangor University and Yr Athrofa: Institute of Education, University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD). This program has been approved by the National Education Leadership Academy (Wales). Students will undertake an extended, independent, critical and evaluative research project on a relevant and appropriate academic topic of interest in the field of school leadership. This project will make an original research contribution to the field of knowledge and be worthy of wider, external dissemination.
