If you are thinking of taking up tertiary study for the first time, or you have been away from study for a while, then the New Zealand Certificate in Study and Career Preparation is a great place to start. The first course sets you on the pathway to your dream, covering career planning and basic tertiary level study and planning skills. The second course hones those skills with more in depth tertiary level writing and research skills with a strong emphasis on preparing you for success in your chosen pathway. The third course is an elective from that pathway. You can choose a course from a range of degrees and diploma from three broad categories: The Business Pathway, the Applied Science Pathway and the Social Sciences Pathway.
