Cardiovascular Technologists are allied health professionals who perform tests at the request of a physician to obtain information about a patient's heart and blood vessel anatomy and function so the physician can make a diagnosis. You will learn to use a variety of electronic monitoring and other equipment for electrocardiofraphy, multi-stage stress testing, Holter and ambulatory monitor analysis, tilt table testing, pacemaker clinics and blood pressure analysis. Simulation labs and clinical placement settings exposes the student to practical learning.
