Liberal Arts | Diploma / certificate | Humanities & Culture | On Campus | 2 years | St. Clair College of Applied Arts and Technology | Canada
Students will study three main fields: psychology, Sociology, and Philosophy. We begin with foundational courses in each of these and throughout the program we will delve deeper and branch outward into areas like Humanities, Politics, and Criminology. They will also build critical thinking, writing, research and other professional skills throughout the program.Through specific agreements with University of Windsor and other universities, graduates of our program may be granted 10 or more credits toward further a university degree (10 credits = One year of credit an Arts/Social Science degree). Liberal Arts graduates may also apply to accelerated college programs (e.g., Autism and Behavioural Science, Child and Youth Worker - Accelerated, Early Childhood Education - Accelerated) which are normally restricted to university graduates or graduates from a handful of specialized college programs.
