Physiotherapy BSc | Bachelor's degree | Health & Well-Being | On Campus | 3 years | St George's University of London | United Kingdom
You’ll work regularly and build a trusting relationship with patients, recommending exercise and manual techniques, identifying the most appropriate equipment aids, depending on each person’s needs and circumstances. This could be anything from simple walking aids and hoists to the use of a hydro pool or specialist rehabilitation equipment, for example, for amputees. By combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience, this course explores concepts, principles and theories of anatomy, physiology, movement, therapeutic exercise, manual techniques and health promotion. You will leave equipped with the knowledge, understanding and assessment and treatment skills needed to work as an effective and autonomous physiotherapist.
