The University of Szeged is one of Hungary’s leading and internationally ranked higher education institutions. The University of Szeged (SZTE) with a history dating back to 1581, is located in the sunniest city of Hungary attracting thousands of young people due to its lively, urban lifestyle and colorful festivals. Since Hungary is a member of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), it also has EU accreditation. The strength of the University of Szeged lies in its diversity. The twelve Faculties at the University of Szeged and its Teachers’ Training Center offer hundreds of training courses, including Bachelor, Master, integrated, undivided and Doctoral training courses, higher education specializations, various postgraduate courses and adult education programs in Hungarian. The number of the accredited degree programs in foreign languages is close to 50. International students have the possibility to study at all three levels of training (BA/BSc, MA/MSc/DM/DMD/DP and PhD) and the University welcomes students.
