The aim of this master's degree is to help graduates access solid theoretical, conceptual and instrumental constructs that can be used in the analysis, evaluation and critical understanding of public administration and the changes it is currently undergoing at all levels - political, institutional / organisational and operational -, with a specific focus on the Portuguese system. The special emphasis placed in this programme on the processes of change arises from the currently well-recognised need, albeit variously interpreted, to prepare public administration to deal with the new demands created by society.
