Materials are crucial to the performance efficiency, effectiveness, quality and environmental friendliness of products and processes in every aspect of modern life. After the thorough training in fundamentals in the Bachelor’s degree program, the Master’s degree program gives students the opportunity to specialize in their personal focus area, as well as to take advantage of the full range of materials science courses to expand their breadth of knowledge. Projects undertaken in the lecture-free period give students hands-on experience with cutting-edge research and prepare them for their Master’s thesis. The program is complemented with a Master’s thesis, which is carried out independently in one of the numerous research groups.
