Summer Course Shoe Design & Pattern making | Summer / Short course | Art & Design | On Campus | 2 weeks | Istituto Modartech | Italy

In this intensive two-week course, you will learn about both traditional and innovative methods of shoe design, with a creative and laboratorial approach, and how to create patterns for various types of footwear. The syllabus was devised to cover the basics of design, research for market trends, footwear digital illustration, footwear graphic design and pattern making, and is aimed at both Italian and foreign students. The course will be held in July in both Italian and English language and guided tours to the representatives of the Made in Italy are foreseen. Course realized with the collaboration of Veronica Solivellas, creator of the Shoes Trend Book, one of the best international notebooks on trends and design proposals for footwear creations. The course is also offered in Italian.
