Pursuant to the New Qualification Regime for Patent Attorney and Trade Mark Attorney Litigators (January 2014), IPReg expects every newly qualified attorney to have attended and passed a basic litigation course within three years of qualification. The Basic Litigation Skills course to be offered by Nottingham Law School is a 4 day course for Trade Mark Attorneys (generally Tuesday to Friday) building upon the skills practiced in the Intensive course but focusing on the practice and procedure of the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court (IPEC). The course is accredited by IPReg.
