The BA (Hons) Specialist Make-up Design is a one year programme aimed at providing a route to an honours degree for students that have completed a Foundation Degree, or equivalent, in Specialist Make-up Design or a closely-related subject. The course will encourage the development of advanced level professional skills and will prepare learners for working within the Fashion, Television, Film & Theatre industries, as Make-up & Hair Artists. The term Specialist Media Make-up encompasses elements of the industry using film and theatre techniques, along with special effects make up, such as prosthetics.
