The Management Development Institute of Singapore was founded in 1956 and is the oldest not-for-profit, professional institute for lifelong learning in Singapore. Their two main subsidiaries of are, MDIS International Pte Ltd to further its globalisation strategy, and Management Development Institute of Singapore Pte Ltd to oversee its Singapore academic operations. MDIS offers accredited courses in Information Technology, Psychology, Mass Communication, Engineering, Health and Life Science, Fashion Design, Business and Management, and Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Management. The programmes are offered in collaboration with prestigious universities in the United Kingdom, the United States of America and France.
