Aerospace Engineering with Pilot Studies | Bachelor's degree | Engineering & Technology | On Campus | 4 years | University of Liverpool | United Kingdom

The main aerospace engineering topics you'll study include aerodynamics, aero structures, flight dynamics and control, propulsion systems, communications, avionics and aircraft materials. The programmes include a two day flight test course in a Jetstream aircraft. Our Aerospace Engineering degree programmes are double accredited (by the Royal Aeronautical Society and the Institute of Mechanical Engineers). This programme is very similar to that of the Aerospace Engineering degree programmes (H425 and H421) but also introduces elements of pilot studies for students interested in becoming pilots. In Year One, the Pilot studies module (based on the PPL ground school syllabus) complements the flight training programme of 20 hours which is mandatory. In Year Two, the Pilot studies module is based on the Air Transport Pilot's Licence (ATPL) ground school syllabus.
