This is a combined honours course, where you study History of Art alongside Sociology. Our History of Art course enables you to combine the study of artistic creativity with a wide range of academic skills. You acquire a broad knowledge of Western art between the 15th and 20th centuries as well as more detailed knowledge of specific periods. Oxford has outstanding resources in its museums and galleries, including the Ashmolean Museum and Christ Church Picture Gallery.
